Dragon Kong has boosted its relationship with the international mahjong community this week by agreeing a sponsorship deal with the European Mahjong Association. The agreement is in respect of the World Mahjong Championship, being hosted by the Dutch Mahjong Association in Utrecht, Netherlands, between August 27-29, 2010. The competition rules as those as defined by the Chinese based World Mahjong Organization.

Japan is expected to participate in the event with around 30 players. Dragon Kong will hold a tournament in which the top 2 winners will win seats on the championship, and have their tournament expenses paid.
